Job Description:

Basic Purpose-

The Supply Chain Trainer manages the successful implementation of the systems and process training for Replenishment. This includes driving effectiveness, integration, centralization, process development and training initiatives for the Replenishment organization.

Description-

Responsible for the professional development and support of the Central Supply Chain and the Replenishment functions at the Divisions of our replenishment systems and on our processes.

Develop plans to boost efficiency of standardized system and process training programs across the enterprise in support of Replenishment initiatives. Effectively identify and facilitate changes aimed at increasing Replenishment effectiveness.

Educate and instruct the Central Supply Chain and the Replenishment functions at the Divisions on the use of our different replenishment systems and on our processes. Leverage the classroom and web-based approached to delivering the training. This includes preparing the agenda for training, understanding and training on the materials to support our systems and processes, and creating scenarios to support the understanding of our processes.

Conduct orientation sessions and arrange on-the-job training for new hires.

Conduct assessments of RSC and Division specific information and undocumented knowledge pertaining to current processes and procedures utilized in Replenishment operation; communicate suggested modifications to create efficiencies.

Serve as a subject matter expert on JDA Manugistics, PRISM and all supporting systems; their usage, capabilities, and organization integration. Acts as a key point of contact for the Central Supply Chain and the Divisions on inquiries regarding JDA Manugistics, PRISM, and supporting system.

Establish and maintain effective relationships across the organization (center, regions and divisions), driving communication and effective integration of training and processes relevant to Replenishment initiatives.

Proactively identify and develop recommendation for process improvement, aimed at increasing effectiveness of training, integration and operations within Replenishment. Design, implement and facilitate training across these areas.

Qualifications-

Education/Training:Four year degree or equivalent experience required.

Related Experience:Progressive strategic sourcing and/or purchasing experience or similar relevant experience preferred.Experience in training/training facilitation in the foodservice environment preferred.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:Must be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office especially Microsoft Excel. JDA Manugistics and/or PRISM experience preferred.Must possess highly developed written/oral communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to facilitate and present in front of a group a must.

Physical Requirements:

Position will be located in Rosemont. Must posses valid drivers license, be able to sit and stand for long periods of time. Some travel / overnights.
