Job Description:

Basic Purpose-

Performs assigned tasks with regard to all required financial accounting and reporting for the division while applying accounting techniques in compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and standard practices in the classification and recording of financial transactions. Responds to non-routine inquiries in assigned area with some degree of latitude and judgment using GAAP and existing Company policies and procedures.

Description-

Prepares month-end journal entries and completes general ledger account analysis.

Prepares periodic financial statements and supporting schedules analysis.( i.e. profit and loss and balance sheet)Completes multiple balance sheet reconciliations as assigned.

Responds timely to requests for information/reports from auditors, regional or corporate associates.

Completes special projects and analysis as requested by management in support of the division finance team

Qualifications-

Education/Training:Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance required.

Related Experience:A minimum of two years in general accounting required.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
  • Attention to detail and organizational skills; multitask oriented; and ability to meet deadlines.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office with strong Excel and computer skills.
  • Thorough understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles.
  • Effective oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work with and demonstrate discretion with confidential information
