SUMMARY*_*_

This position is responsible forpreparing credit write ups (CRM) including financial statement spreading and analysis while working with lending officers in obtaining credit information, and participating in calls with lessors on prospective transactions.

  • Preparing write-ups (CRM) will be the primary responsibility. This will entail general accounting and underwriting knowledge, as well as knowledge ofMoody’s spreading software, and other internal bank systems.

  • Individual will also be requires to go to various websites to obtain public information (i.e. Debt ratings, credit default swap information, background information on the company, etc.).

  • Individual will also participate in internal department meetings, conference calls on transactions, and some meetings with customers.

  • Understands and complies with all Bank policies and procedures, and federal and state laws and regulations pertinent to this position; stays informed and shares updates on changes with management. Required to successfully complete all required Compliance training.

  • Continuously supports the Bank’s Mission Statement and Core Values.

Education and Work Experience

Minimum Required

Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from a four-year college or university and three to five years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Desired Education/Experience

MBA is not required but a plus.

  • Finance & Accounting -Intermediate knowledge of accounting principles and financial analysis. Understanding of balance sheet, income statement and cash flow statement.

  • Language Ability - Ability to read, analyze, and interpret financial statements, general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, and customers.

  • Reasoning Ability - Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
