The Risk Analyst will provide analysis and support in the design and implementation of the Corporate Risk Program. Responsibilities included, but not limited to, risk management policy design, insurance coverage reviews, contract reviews, and oversight of claim activity. This position will routinely interact with insurance brokers, insurers, risk management vendors, and internal departments.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Manage the collection of critical information provided to brokers and insurers to assess and price the company’s property and casualty insurance. Analyze insurance market and industry data to apply benchmarking and monitor trends.
Responsible for state insurance filings for workers compensation
Review insurance policies and take the lead working with auditors on policy audits
Analyze risk and liability exposures related to established protocols. Develop dashboard reports to measure and monitor identified risks.
Manage the Certificates of Insurance program; analyze vendor limits and evaluate appropriateness of exceptions/waivers
Responsible for the Surety Bonds program
Manage the Business Insurance expense payments and tracking. Analyzes expense trends to annual budget.
Manage the department’s internal SharePoint site including maintenance of related content
Provide oversight of recovery efforts on insured claims including potentially significant property and liability claims
Ensures Auto Property Damage Only claims are handled appropriately by TPA
Identify, evaluate, and implement risk management “best practices” policies and procedures for the company with the mindset of focusing on continuous improvement
Interacts with all distribution centers and specialty operations to ensure practices are in place to understand, evaluate, measure, monitor, and manage business and operational risks affecting the facility and the company.

Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in Business, Finance, or Risk Management
ARM (Associate in Risk Management) designation desired
· Minimum of 2 years relevant Risk Management and Insurance experience, including Worker's Compensation insurance
· Strong written and verbal communication skills are mandatory; requires ability to clearly and concisely communicate complex information
· Proficient knowledge of corporate property/casualty insurance coverages
· Excellent analytical, organizational, and time management skills
· Extensive experience working in risk management information systems
· Strong financial acumen
· Advanced knowledge of SharePoint, Excel, including pivot tables, Word, and PowerPoint
