Job Description:

Basic Purpose-

The Recruiter Lead is responsible for high-volume sourcing and recruiting in direct support of the Field hourly role. Hiring goals will be achieved through the implementation of grass roots recruiting plans and sourcing strategies. This particular role will manage five High volume recruiters within the Region. The Recruiter Lead will be responsible for driving fulfillment of openings, reporting, and lowering turnover and will be accountable for candidate engagement throughout the recruitment process.


  • Lead Talent Acquisition initiatives. Serve as a primary Recruiter regarding subject matter expertise in internal and external facing roles. Ensuring helping to grow the USF talent brand and candidate pools.

  • Manage and coach and develop a team of high-volume Recruiters to drive fulfillment of hourly facilities roles in a timely fashion, engage new hires, and lower hourly turnover

  • Support consistent lead practices including coaching, development, and training for all team members.

  • Work with the TA leadership and local HR to develop and deliver a market leading recruiting strategy for the Region

  • Act as a key member of the recruiting team working to develop a consistent approach across all markets

  • Oversee the recruiting process for all hourly external experienced hires within Operations

  • Partner with the business to develop and drive direct sourcing methods and strategies, utilizing in-house recruiting methods

  • Build strategic relationships with clients across specific businesses demonstrating advanced knowledge and subject matter expertise within recruiting acting as a trusted advisor

  • Attend business management meetings and provide regular reporting as required

  • Ensure the correct use of relevant recruiting and HR systems: monitor team use

  • Promote best practices within recruiting

  • Championing key recruiting initiatives (mobility, Military, diversity, etc.,), developing and executing against strategies which support these initiatives and goals

  • Management of agencies (albeit very limited)

  • In partnership with the Deployment Manager design, develop and implement tools, processes and programs to support talent growth strategies for the centralized recruiting expansion.

Education/Training :

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience

Related Experience/Requirements:

  • Minimum 1-year lead experience- leading small high-volume recruiting teams

  • Minimum 3 years in full-lifecycle recruiting for professional positions at all levels including sourcing, assessing, qualifying and interviewing candidates in a corporate recruiting role;

  • Previous high-volume recruiting experience

  • Prior agency experience preferred.

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience successfully sourcing and identifying top talent through various methods including LinkedIn, social media, internet, job boards, niche sites, etc. required.

  • High level of proficiency with Microsoft Office products including including Outlook, Word and Excel required.

  • Skilled in social networking sites.

  • Effectively handle multiple priorities, organize workload and meet demanding, shifting priorities and deadlines.


  • Strong ability to successfully cold call, and source talent using Boolean search techniques as required.

  • Experience with use of a web-based applicant tracking system preferred (Taleo/Workday).

  • Skilled in MS Office, LinkedIn Recruiter, other social networking sites.

  • Strong oral and written communication skills

  • Familiarly with HR

  • Strong organizational, leadership and customer service skills

  • Experience in recruiting functions and client relations

  • High energy, excellent focus, relentless drive, team player

  • Ability to multi-task and work under pressure meeting continuing deadlines

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment

  • Advanced Microsoft skills

  • Ability to work with minimal supervision

  • Work with/stay abreast of Internet sites and creative tools for research and sourcing (job boards, social networking sites, LinkedIn, Indeed, Twitter, Facebook, etc.) to maximize recruiting presence and exposure to potential candidates online, including passive candidates not actively seeking a new job.
