Basic Purpose-

US Foods’ BluePrint Menu Management System® provides a complete package of menu tools for facilities and systems of all types, including senior living communities, assisted living, skilled nursing and hospitals. The US Foods BluePrint Menu Management System is available as a value added service to US Foods customers. The Dietitian will engage in a number of activities to support US Foods and its customers utilizing the BluePrint Menu Management System and its components.

Description-

ESSENTIALDUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Effectively communicates with internal and external contactsto address customer needs and engage in sales conversations;

  • Provides technical & instructional support for customers.Hosts live meetings, trainings and webinars;

  • Assists with maintenance of the BluePrint Menu ManagementSystem menu and recipe database;

  • Communicates with key US Foods contacts to coordinate set-upand maintenance of BluePrint Menu Management System customers;

  • Conducts testing of new technology and documents bestpractices for customers and sales force;

  • Assists with creation and distribution of printed menumaterials;

  • Remains knowledgeableand current with the dietetic profession, maintaining continuing educationcredits as established by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) and thestate of Illinois.

Qualifications-

Education/Training:

  • Bachelor’s Degree required;

  • RegisteredDietitian/Nutritionist (RDN) credentials required;

  • Registration with theCommission on Dietetic Registration (CDR); Illinois State Dietetic licensurerequired.

Related Experience:

  • 1 years of experience in cycle menu planningand foodservice operations;

  • Customer service experience and cycle menu approvalexperience preferred.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

  • RegisteredDietitian;

  • Computer literacy ;

  • Excellentwritten and verbal communication skills;

  • Proficient in Microsoft Officeapplications;

  • Ability to work in a team environment and prioritize multipletasks;

  • Analytical, creative planning and organization skills;

  • Knowledge of Cbordsoftware or other menu planning software;

  • Knowledge of USDA Nutrient Database.

Physical Requirements:

Limited physical demands- detailed reading required, use of computer, some moving of materials within an office setting
