Dohrn is seeking a FT Report & Data Analyst I at our Corporate office in Rock Island, IL.
Develop and Support a large number of reports using MS Reporting Services and Crystal Reports
Manage multiple reporting requests in a deadline-driven environment
Analyze, evaluate and interpret data from key systems
Responsible for regularly scheduled reports (daily, weekly, monthly) for internal/external customers
Ability to react to change quickly and handle other essential tasks as assigned
Participates in 24x7 support and on-call rotation as required; available by cell at all times
Attend and actively participate in team and department meetings
Timely submissions of status reports, salary calendars, and project documentation
Drafting support documentation (knowledge base articles)
React to change productively and handle other tasks as assigned
Experience using MS SQL Server (2000, 2005, 2008 R2) or equivalent
Working knowledge of Microsoft Reporting Services and Crystal Reports or similar
Working knowledge of Visual Studio and Report Builder
Two year technical degree preferred or equivalent work experience
1 to 3 years data reporting experience
Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
Strong problem solving and analytical skills
Ability to work on tasks independently and within a team environment
Punctuality and good attendance record a must
WORKING CONDITIONS/PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Weekend and night hours occasionally required.
Primarily sedentary work. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time. May be occasionally required to exert up to 10 pounds of force and/or negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects.
The general office environment is generally favorable. Lighting and temperature are adequate, and there are minimal hazardous or unpleasant conditions caused by noise, dust, etc. Environment includes co-workers talking on the phone within close proximity.
Visual Acuity including regular use of items including a computer screen or monitor.
Manual dexterity is regularly required including fingering, grasping, and typing; manual dexterity includes repetitive motion of the wrists, hands, and fingers.
Talking and hearing required to communicate with and listen to others to share or receive information. May be occasionally exposed to noise including telephone, office machinery, and conversations of others.
