Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) Planner The Total Productive Maintenance Planner has overall equipment reliability responsibilities at the Dr Pepper Snapple Groups facility in Northlake, IL. They are part of the plant’s production team and reports to the line manager. They will comply with safety and quality standards and meet customer demand in an environment producing over sixty five million cases per year.

Position Shift and Schedule This is a full time permanent position which will begin working and training on the 1st shift. The position will need flexibility to move to 2nd shift. Flexibility to work weekends, various shifts, and beyond the standard 40 hour work week is required as business needs dictate.
Position Responsibilities 1. Maximize equipment reliability by use of planned maintenance. 2. Quickly return equipment to OEM design. 3. Collect data for each piece of equipment to determine the MTBF (Meantime Between Failure). 4. Schedule all maintenance activities on the production line to ensure there are no breakdowns. 5. Work with the team to drive autonomous maintenance on the production line. 6. Print, assign, ensure completion of, confirm and TECO all preventative maintenance tasks in SAP – EAM on a daily / weekly basis. 7. Work with the facilities stock room to ensure parts are in stock or whether they need ordered in order to complete work orders. 8. Contact vendors for machine parts to obtain quotes. 9. Complete purchase requisitions for ordering of machine parts. 10. Organize and have parts available to make repairs. 11. Work with the machine operators and mechanics to determine what is needed to complete repairs on the equipment. 12. Operate within the repairs and maintenance budget for the production line. 13. Identify maintenance related issues on the production equipment and create action plans to have them corrected. 14. Performs other duties as assigned.
