Dr Pepper Snapple Group HR Coordinator in Northlake, Illinois

The successful HR Coordinator will assist the HR team in assigned matters in support of an assigned territory, including HR policy implementation, management of business partner information in our HRIS system, administrative support and special projects related to the HR agenda.

This role requires significant "customer first" orientation, strong organizational ability, keen attention to detail, ability to effectively manage multiple priorities, follow-up, and ability to maintain high levels of confidentiality. The successful candidate will be involved in a wide variety of HR functions, and will have a chance to grow into gain additional responsibility.

Location: This role is office based, at our Northlake, IL facility

Travel: Travel is approx 15% ( day trips) to assist our facilities in IL and WI.

*Job Responsibilities: * * Partner with HR team to support an assigned territory in a wide variety of HR functions. * Responsible for SAP data maintenance, headcount/turnover reporting and analysis; create scorecards, dashboards and report out metric tools. * Responsible for processing and auditing all SAP transactional changes for HR Business Partner Team's, documenting changes in the HRSS system to ensure changes are made in an accurate and timely manner. Research employee data in SAP; generate ad hoc reports as needed. * Oversee STD & FMLA inquiries and claims to make sure employees comply with all requirements. * Monitor and audit the execution of PMP including Development plans to ensure 100% manager / employee participation. * Assist in ensuring HR policies and practices are communicated and adhered to within the business unit. * Respond to inquiries from employees, supervisors and other external customers regarding HR policies and practices. * Process termination letters and other HR documents. * Research and respond to initial unemployment requests as well as scheduling and notifying participants of upcoming hearings. * Assist with employee relations and investigative fact finding. * Conduct new hire orientation and assist with benefits communications on scheduled basis. * Assists with the management of small to medium special projects and performs other duties as needed.

  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited University or 1 year of HR experience & High School Diploma
  • 2 years’ experience using MS Excel to retrieve data, create pivot tables, v- lookups, data analysis and formatting of content.
  • 2 years’ experience using MS Outlook, Word and PowerPoint creating professional communications and presentations.
