US Foods Marketing Activation Specialist (Virtual) in Illinois, Illinois

The primary purpose of the Marketing Activation Specialist is to support efforts to create and deploy our marketing initiatives to our sellers and customers. Plays an integral role in managing our seller incentive programs, supporting new go-to market strategies and teaming up with the right people to ensure our marketing initiatives, programs and activities are deployed consistently across the company.


Support national and local sales leadership with identifying new and improved marketing opportunities

Support new business managers and area business development managers acquire new business by staying on top of trends, helping create new messaging and targeting approaches.

Working closely with marketing program leads and FOP, support and build plans to roll out marketing initiatives to all sellers

Help build marketing plans for key segments and initiatives

Create content for marketing materials, manage project timelines and report on results

Work closely with Director and marketing program owners to create and deploy direct to customer marketing plans

Support events as needed

Education/Training: Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing or similar field.

Related Experience: Minimum 3-5 years of marketing experience required, familiarity with marketing campaigns, customer and seller promotions and customer segment strategy. Experience with PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook is a must.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: The ideal candidate will be calm under pressure, possess a positive attitude, outgoing personality, be highly collaborative, adaptable and consistently take initiative. Demonstrating the ability to manage multiple priorities, work cross functionally and problem solve is required.
