Job Profile:

  • Executes the LOB Risk Management program, identifying opportunities for enhancement where applicable. Enables line of business adherence with risk programs.

  • Participates in the design and development of the risk management program to meet business and regulatory expectations. Leads in the design and development of specific risk management program components.

  • Executes the risk management programs within or across the lines of business (e.g. - business self-assessment and quality reviews). May lead cross functional teams.

  • Provides risk expertise while working with the businesses and other risk partners (e.g., Compliance, Credit, Legal, Audit).

  • Leads or influences risk initiatives and business as usual activities. Identifies risk, assesses impact and makes recommendations on resolution. Reports and escalates risk and program compliance as appropriate.

Required Education and Experience:

Position Overview:

As a(n) LOB Risk Specialists Senior within PNC's Retail organization, you will be based in Pittsburgh, PA or Downers Grove ILL. Your responsibilities include the following:

  • Establishing strong relationships with corporate service partners such as compliance, legal, risk management, etc. on initiatives impacting Retail Lending and Retail Banking.

  • Monitoring regulatory and operational changes and working closely with management to understand impacts and solutions.

  • Leading regulatory exams and requests which include:

◦ Interfacing with regulators and examiners on the scope of exam activity.

◦ Leading efforts to communicate exam requirements to all levels of management.

◦ Managing working teams to gather exam deliverables within established time frames, as well as coordination of all exam logistics.

◦ Establishing close relationships with legal and compliance partners to address potential risk areas and ensure appropriate approval is obtained on exam deliverables.

◦ Effectively communicate the status of exam activity to both bank regulators and management.

  • Coordinating the development and approval of management responses and remediation plans.

  • Ensuring remediation plans appropriately address requirements and are completed within established time frames.

  • Facilitating meetings between the regulators and business owners to discuss the status of remediation efforts.
