Job Description:

Card Account Manager is responsible for the development of a Bank of America Merrill Lynch Commercial Card client portfolio. Current portfolio is 50+ accounts with $1B+ in annual volume and $10MM+ in annual revenue. Primary duties include enforcement of a measurable strategic plan designed to foster card spend and revenue expansion through organic growth and product cross-sell opportunities; consultation on industry, product and program administration tool best practices to ensure optimized product utilization and client delight; conduct account and portfolio business reviews to initiate dialogue regarding opportunities and to measure satisfaction with product offering and customer service.

Additional duties may include and are not limited to pricing, contract management, forecasting portfolio card volume and rebates, rebate payment management, service escalation point of contact, sales and account management of ACH product for the clients in the portfolio, and building strong partnerships with internal partners.

REQUIRED SKILLS

Strong sales, organizational, project management, analytical, marketing, and client relationship management skills. Program analysis and analytical capabilities are essential. Must be comfortable working with senior corporate personnel, as well as internal Client Management and Treasury Management partners. Comfortable working with and demonstrating information reporting systems.

  • 3-5 years prior account management experience in a client-facing role (or equivalent).

  • Excellent client facing, communications, and interpersonal skills

  • Excellent personal computer and presentation skills.

  • Strong ability to learn quickly and multi-task.

  • Able to manage both internal and external business partners in order to deliver solutions to meet client needs.

  • Strong understanding of Global Card and Comprehensive Payables industry including competitive landscape and regional marketplace variations.

  • Excellent communication & writing skills and experienced in Microsoft Office applications with direct experience making senior level client presentations

  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

  • Undergraduate degree

  • Ability to travel 25% DESIRED SKILLS

  • Preferred commercial card industry experience.
