Human Resources professionals develop and execute HR strategies, programs and services across one or more parts of the employee lifecycle to attract, develop and retain a highly engaged and differentiated workforce that enables the execution of human capital and business strategies.
Responsible for overseeing the administration of US Retirement Plans:
Ensure plans are administered in accordance with plan documents and legal requirements.
Act as Subject Matter Expert for all issues regarding the Defined Benefit, Defined Contribution and U.S. Retiree Insurance plans.
Manage legal aspects of corporate transactions, including plan adoptions and amendments for acquisitions, joint ventures and affiliates; manage bridge loan process; conduct Benefits presentations.
Counsel and coach HR Leads in sensitive situations.
Interpret plan rules and resolve escalated participant inquiries.
Manage implementation of plan changes
Research and analyze data for non-discrimination testing requirements (i.e. Section 415 and Section 402(g) IRS limits)
Assist with administration of Canada Retirement/Pension Plans where necessary
Support Workers’ Compensation program for US employees
Manage cross-service project team for the Your Total Rewards website
A minimum of 2 years of Total Rewards experience
A minimum of 5 years of retirement planning experience
Experience with US Retirement Plans
Experience with Canada Pension Plans
Experience with Workers' Compensation for the US
Demonstrated leadership in professional setting; either military or civilian
Demonstrated teamwork and collaboration in a professional setting; either military or civilian
