JOB DESCRIPTION

The Data Product Manager will be responsible for driving innovative improvements in how the Global Transaction Services (GTS) business uses data to help clients better manage their treasury operations. This includes providing product and sales teams with new insights through BI and advanced analytics to help them more effectively create and deliver client solutions. The Data Product Manager will work with business stakeholders to understand business needs/ objectives, and apply technical and analytical knowledge with ingenuity to tease out insights that drive will the business forward.

Must be able to understand the business vision and leverage enterprise data to present clear, actionable recommendations/analyses. The role involves engaging with GTS data scientists, product management, sales teams and technology partners.

Candidate will be required to:

· Provide operational support for existing Tableau reports/dashboards

· Be the subject matter expert for the Tableau dashboard design

· Participate in analysis, design, development, testing, deployment and support of dashboards and data assets

· Interface with data engineering team, data scientists, business partners, leaders, and/or users to write and clarify requirements - work closely with the different groups to understand their reporting and dashboard needs

· Troubleshoot dashboard design and data issues independently, determining the root cause and fixing issues, prioritize scope and implement production dashboard enhancement requests

· Proactively identify problems/issues/risks and quickly implement solutions to production dashboards

· Create and document ETL workflows using Alteryx to pull data from across the Enterprise to support POC for new tools, data use cases, and dashboard designs

· Manage Tableau development projects from end to end – creating requirements, documenting current state and designing future state – including communicating status updates on a regular basis and manage multiple priorities with competing aggressive delivery timelines

· Support training and communication needs – help plan, design and conduct training sessions, share knowledge and educate trainers and users

· Understand reporting database schema/model and perform ad-hoc data analysis

· Keep abreast of developments of industry BI standards, implement and share best practices

REQUIRED SKILLS

Minimum 5 years of Business Intelligence, Data Analytics and SQL structured programming experience including ad-hoc queries, and data development and design

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Math or related field

3+ years of experience in creating highly interactive data visualization Tableau Desktop & Tableau Server dashboards using features such as data blending, extracts, LOD and table calculations, filters, actions, parameters, context filters, sets, groups and aggregate measures

· Understand and apply best practices related to Tableau dashboards and data visualization

· Strong attention to detail and experience with creating visualizations that tell the business story to leaders and non-analysts with clear and compelling design

· Ability to consistently deliver solid, successful solutions with short development cycles that hit the mark on the initial delivery

· Experience developing dashboard wireframes and creating design requirements based on user inputs with an excellent understanding of the technical and visual design considerations

· Must have good project management, written and verbal communication skills, and be able to communicate effectively in business terms with business partners and technical terms with technical partners

· Strong client focus/customer service skills

· Comfortable delivering complex solutions in tight timeframes

· Must be able to work independently as well as in a team environment

· Conceptual thinker, learner, and effective problem solver

· Exposure to SQL Server and Oracle

DESIRED SKILLS

· Master’s degree or MBA

· Experience with Python, SAS, or R a plus

· Knowledge of treasury business and GTS products and/or applications (liquidity, payments, receivables, commercial cards and trade)
