Line of Business Role Description

Manages large projects from initiation through implementation for a major operations segment, product line(s) or multiple operations units that may be regional or national in scope. Directs the research of existing operations, procedures, workflow, product and service requirements. Manages the analysis of assembled data to define problems, which would include cost/benefit analysis and scope of the project. Decisions made during the project may have significant impact affecting more than project area. Works directly with senior management of the operations area to set strategic direction of the project. May be required to interact with management outside of operations area, including negotiation with vendors/consultants on contractual issues such as services, bids/fees and delivery timetables. Has direct management responsibility for the project team and budget. Requires an in-depth knowledge of the bank and overall operations environment so that project impact is well defined.

  • 5+ years related experience in senior project management role

  • Strong Treasury Operations business acumen

  • Strategic and critical thinker

  • Senior executive messaging skills

  • Senior executive presentation development skills

  • Analytical skills

  • Ability to manage workload with high degree of independence and ability to proof their own work

  • Proactive planner

  • Extreme attention to detail

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with high visibility

  • Proven ability to manage competing needs and drive to quality despite changing priorities and tight deadlines

  • History of influencing without authority to achieve goals

  • Strong interpersonal skills required to interact with a broad range of stakeholders and partners

  • Strong ability to navigate and manage large complex projects

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; communicates clearly and crisply and with confidence

  • Applicants should have ability to navigate large complex global organizations and partner accordingly

  • Strong business acumen and problem solving skills; ability to analyze problems, recommend options, and execute solutions

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and operate in an ambiguous environment or an environment where priorities may change quickly

  • Attention to detail and ability to work with large sets of data, consolidate information into presentations and interpret results

  • Prior working experience in Operations, Finance, Technology or Risk

  • Proficient in MS Office skills, specifically Word, Excel and PowerPoint
