Cintas Senior Manager of Product Development in Chicago, Illinois

Cintas is seeking a Senior Manager of Product Development to lead a team and execute the end to end product development process in support of our Direct Sale Apparel business strategies. The Senior Manager of Product Development effectively uses leadership, project management and technical skills through the sampling, testing, fit and approval processes as a pre-qualification for final customer approval and production. Responsibilities include collaborating with internal and external stakeholders and customers, aligning the team to the strategies for the division, managing expectations and timelines, working with external vendors and ensuring the flawless execution of all milestone and testing activities related to product launch.
Minimum 10 years' related business experience
High School Diploma/GED; Bachelor's Degree preferred
Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of supply chain and product development
Experience interacting as a technical expert with customers
Ability to influence decision makers through creating value propositions and effective communication skills (oral, written and presentation)
Demonstrated ability to identify opportunities through data, financial analysis, risk assessments and process reviews
Excellent interpersonal skills with a customer service mindset
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and intranet/internet
Knowledge of textile/garment manufacturing industry
Working knowledge of product lifecycle management software and project management tools
