Bank of America Senior Leasing Sales Specialist - Global Vendor Finance in Chicago, Illinois
Associate at this level is a qualified, seasoned sales professional with responsibility for achieving volume and profitability goals. Associate will lead in the direct origination of 2-3 new programs annually resulting in a minimum of $20MM each in first year volume with capacity for incremental growth. Maintain a comprehensive effort in the identification and qualification of top vendor prospects. Proactively educate line of business partners providing vendor leasing product education and target vendor partners profiles ensuring that Global Vendor Finance is recognized as the partner of choice for the bank’s clients. Recognize and refer cross sell opportunities with same line of business partners that will result in incremental business opportunities across the entire bank platform. Develop and maintain a network of relationships with prospects and customers, as well as peers and colleagues both inside and outside the organization, drawing upon a wide range of professional and business relationships in order to monitor industry events and trends along with up-to-date insight on industry competitors. Develop and foster relationships with bank partners as well as internal credit, risk, contracts, legal, pricing, syndications, marketing support teams and other complementary sales groups to create, build and close qualified opportunities and effectively manage existing relationships.
- Bachelor’s degree – accounting, finance, economics or other business concentration; MBA preferred
Prior Work Experience:
- 12 plus years of experience in the commercial finance and/or equipment leasing arena – vendor sales, account management, credit, administration, equipment management

Proven track record in vendor program originations
Strong analytical and financial analysis skills
In-depth knowledge of financial and accounting concepts
Proven ability to assess customer/client needs
Proven negotiation skills
Strong written and verbal communication skills

Proficiency with MS Office applications; competency with pricing software beneficial (Super Trump, T-Value)
Travel Requirements 50%
Location – Chicago, but will consider other Leasing hub locations
