Job Description

Oracle professionals design, implement and deploy Oracle solutions to achieve defined business goals. Maintain skills in Oracle applications process design and configuration; Oracle application design, development, integration, testing and deployment; and Oracle application technical architecture.

A professional at this position level within Accenture has the following responsibilities:

Provides solutions to complex business problems for area(s) of responsibility where analysis of situations requires an in depth knowledge of organizational objectives.

Involved in setting strategic direction to establish near term goals for area of responsibility.

Interacts with senior management levels at a client and/or within Accenture, which involves negotiating or influencing on significant matters.

Has latitude in decision-making and determining objectives and approaches to critical assignments .

Decisions have a lasting impact on area of responsibility with the potential to impact outside area of responsibility.

Manages large teams and/or work efforts (if in an individualcontributor role) at a client or within Accenture.

The Oracle POSDelivery Lead will work with retailers, Quick Serve Restaurant (QSR) and other customer facing companies to lead delivery teams, supporting the planning, development and implementation of both functional and technical project efforts that meets IT and business objectives and adhere to Accenture and client standards and requirements. Throughout the project lifecycle Delivery Lead will obtain feedback to ensure that project efforts meet customer expectations for contracted scope, time, and cost.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 7 years of delivering best-practice technology solutions for clients from planning, development, implementation and support

  • Minimum of 3 years of working with retail or hospitality customers, store operations, mobile and traditional payments, point-of-service solutions and/or digital apps preferred

  • Minimum of Bachelor’s Degree

  • Able to meet minimum travel requirements up to 100%, nationally and globally.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Understanding of the Oracle X-Store Point of Service solution

  • Understanding of the Solution Delivery Lifecycle

  • Understanding of how project work is scoped, estimated and contracted

  • Awareness and knowledge how digital is disrupting businesses and transforming customer experience

Professional Skills:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, presentation, customer service, business and negotiation skills

  • Excellent organizational and analytical skills with strong technical abilities and an extreme attention to detail and ability to self-audit work

  • Strong team management and client relationship experience

  • Ability to work with both functional and technical teams

  • Ability to lead and manage both onshore and offshore teams, client and other 3rd parties to deliver business results

  • Proven success in contributing to a team-oriented environment

  • Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment

  • Proven ability to communicate your ideas both verbally and visually

  • Proven ability to think both strategically and tactically, while keeping in mind the goals of the business
