Exchange Traded Derivatives team
Follows established written procedures and guidelines, provides standard reporting and analytical support. Uses established techniques, analyzes and resolves a wide variety of moderately complex operations problems and initiatives including transactions that require special handling and/or exception handling.
Maintenance of static data elements within various internal and 3rd party applications including data related to fees and product setup. Analyze and setup fee static with GMI (MMFEE). Add and maintain exchange traded products within FUTM (GMI). Participate in operational improvement initiatives. Assist in the implementation of new systems that drive automation and increase accuracy of data management. Assist with checking the accuracy of other team members’ work. Investigate fee breaks to ensure static data accuracy. Effectively communicate internally; including front office and client services personnel regarding various operational issues. Find opportunities for increased efficiency and accuracy within the day to day work. Participate in various projects and initiatives. Ensure all procedures are accurate and up to date plus various Ad-hoc requests. Adhere to all policies, procedures and regulations.
Strong GMI knowledge, especially related to fee and membership tables
College degree or relevant work experience
Ability to thrive in a fast paced, changing environment
Strong data entry skills
Ability to problem solve, outline and propose tactical and strategic solutions
Advanced Microsoft office skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
Desired skills for this role include: expert Excel knowledge, Business, Finance, Accounting, Economics, or similar major preferred and basic understanding of and/or experience in financial service industry.
