What You’ll Do: The Mid-Market Sales Manager’s objective is to represent our company by focusing on the sale of ShopperTrak products to retailers with under 75 stores. Responsibilities include:

  1. Market coverage: Prospecting the assigned verticals for sales opportunities

  2. Achieving the assigned revenue and accountability quotas

  3. Maintaining business plans for assigned verticals including coverage plan, essential messaging, and identifiable metrics to achieve

  4. Maintaining prospecting strategies for prospects in the verticals

  5. Working closely with the assigned ShopperTrak team(s) to ensure proper customer satisfaction

  6. Producing proposals in the agreed upon format that reflect the client’s scope of work for each sales opportunity

  7. Producing proposal notes outlining the scope of work and the success criteria

  8. Collaborating with finance to produce contracts in accordance with the scope of work and within company policy

  9. Maintaining proper reports as directed by the CSO

    1. Maintaining and producing expense reports as directed by company policy

    2. Up-selling new products, using internal subject matter experts or other internal resources as necessary

    3. Gathering competitive intelligence

    4. Supporting your assigned engagement managers with collection activities as needed

    5. Other, as assigned

    • Have knowledge of telesales selling techniques to include prospecting, presenting, and closing

    • Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications

    • Fluency with Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

    • Strong command of English language

    • Two to five years of sales experience to executive level clients including owners, CEO, COO, CFO, and SR VP of Operations

    • Customer centric personality, high drive, and self-starting experience

    • Telesales experience selling data related products and syndicated data services

    • Track record of inside sales success

    • Customer-focused

    • Industrious, ambitious, and organized

    • Able to work independently and organize workload efficiently

    • Excellent presentation skills

    • Able to manage multiple projects

    • Action and results oriented

    • Excellent oral and written communication skills

    • BS/BA in a field such as Business, Marketing, or Communications

    • Retail industry experience

    • Experience with CRMs,
