Johnson Controls Digital Lead Generation Analyst in Chicago, Illinois
*What you will do *
The Digital Lead Generation Analyst is responsible for supporting the execution and maintaining effective and successful digital marketing programs to support Traffic and Retail organizational objectives. Major areas of accountability include supporting the creation and and implementation of multi-channel digital lead generation programs across the entire funnel with specific implementation responsibility for countries within APAC with a special emphasis on China, Australia, and Japan. This role will support several channels, with a primary focus of email marketing, paid search, display advertising, remarketing, and other digital lead generation vehicles.In this metrics driven role, theDigital Lead Generation Analystwill maximize program return-on-investment by managing to measurable performance benchmarks and KPIs. TheDigital Lead Generation Analystwill report to the Digital Lead Generation Manager and Global Director of Digital & Marcom in Chicago.
How you will do it * Utilize digital marketing tactics to generate new leads, nurture existing leads, create upselling opportunities and drive business growth * Execute paid search, search engine optimization, inbound marketing, remarketing, online paid media, and display advertising campaigns with an eye towards applying best practices * Support the creation of a global lead generation program across all stages of the funnel and across the entire Retail Solutions portfolio, within an emphasis on the APAC region * Manage and implement global paid search programs through Baidu in China & Google globally * Identify optimal spend and work with regional marketing leaders and external agencies to optimize paid search programs across a number of global geographies * Coordinate execution with internal digital platform owners including Pardot Automation, Social, Web sites, social and more * Develop tests and report on performance to identify the optimal staging and mix of paid search, search engine optimization, online paid media, and display advertising campaigns with an eye towards applying best practices * Identify optimal spend and work with APAC regional marketing team and external agencies to optimize paid search programs across a number of global geographies * Identify web behavioral paths that align with appropriate drip campaigns * Measure and reporting performance of all digital marketing campaigns, and assess against goals (ROI and KPIs) * Support the set-up of enhanced reporting, review and make recommendations * Compile and report metrics from a variety of business systems including Pardot, Salesforce, Google Analytics and Google AdWords to determine program impact and optimization opportunities * Support marketing and sales teams with ad-hoc reporting requests * Work with external agencies in campaign creation, ensure work is on strategy and in alignment with digital best practices * Coordinate approvals and implementation of regional digital communications (may require flex hours to accommodate meetings during APAC work schedules) * Maintain and manage monthly reporting dashboards for Traffic teams
What we look for
Minimum Qualifications * Bachelor’s degree in digital marketing, marketing, communications, business or a related field, or equivalent experience * Minimum 3 years to 6 years’ experience and a demonstrated track record of accomplishment in digital marketing * Experience with Paid Search Marketing, including both Baidu and Google Adwords * Familiarity with Google Analytics and metrics reporting * Experience with Pardot, Eloqua, Salesforce.com and/or other marketing automation systems aplus * Ability to effectively communicate in English and Mandarin (written, oral and presentations) * Effective organizational skills with track record of completing projects on time and on budget * Ability to work effectively in a high growth, dynamic environment * Ability to navigate a matrix-managed and geographically dispersed organization * Resourceful, action-oriented self-starter with commitment to delivering with excellence * Ability to work independently, set priorities, work on multiple projects simultaneously, solve problems, and be resourceful under pressure * Willingness to “roll up the sleeves” and do what it takes to get the job done Preferred Qualifications * Experience in retail industry and/or technology * Comfort navigating a matrix-based organizational structure * Familiarity with web optimization and management * Google Analytics Certification a plus * Google AdWords and Baidu a requirement Additional Skills * Strong digital acumen * Well versed in leveraging data in marketing automation for personalization and creation of behavioral workflows * Ability to define processes and paths to project completion with limited documentation * Thrive in entrepreneurial environments and comfort working in evolving organization
