The Cyber Security Defense (CSD) function within Global Information Security is responsible for all aspects of threat intelligence and monitoring, application and network security, and insider threat. In addition, the CSD team drives out the enterprise-wide cyber exercise program.

The Cyber Threat Intelligence (CTI) Internal Liaison Manager will work with the Global Information Security Business Information Security Office program to ensure Cyber Threat Intelligence supports the BISO program to enable Global Technology & Operations and Front Line Units to make better decisions. The candidate will work with internal customers to facilitate the flow of information and ensure positive change by creating new relationships and managing existing ones as part of the overall intelligence management lifecycle. The candidate will ensure internal teams get the right cyber threat intelligence at the right time, will actively solicit feedback on intelligence provided, and will work to improve existing processes to better serve our clients. The candidate will be responsible for various management, operational, and reporting tasks on a daily basis. The candidate will lead meetings in a fast-paced environment, communicating complex topics effectively at all management levels of the organizations and will educate and advise internal business and technical leaders regarding cyber threats and possible security solutions. The individual should possess a comprehensive understanding of how cyber threats impact business objectives and requires excellent honed communication skills to negotiate internally, often at a senior level. The candidate will be accountable for end-results, and will exercise control over resources, policy formulation, and planning for these areas of responsibility.

Enterprise Role Overview:

Organizes, plans and develops relationships with new and existing internal customers. Meets regularly with internal customers; gathers standing and priority intelligence requirements and works with internal partners to identify intelligence gaps. Ensures intelligence reports and alerts drive actions throughout the enterprise. Is an agent of change to influence process and policy changes. Enables tactical preventative, detection, or response actions for cyber security operations. Provides cyber threat landscape awareness and communications for internal enterprise customers, key suppliers and customers. Supports the development and documentation of a repeatable client Interaction model. Proactively identifies opportunities for CTI Analysts to engage in conversations with internal customers and key suppliers. Proactively seeks feedback and works with CTI partners (and other internal partners) to address those opportunities. Manages internal customer subscription models.

Required Skills & Experience:

This is a hands-on leadership role where the candidate will be involved in creating a new team to define, plan, implement and run a liaison team that supports the BISO program globally for Bank of America.

The candidate will be expected to provide leadership to the internal liaison services team and business partners and produce management reports in a timely fashion.

The candidate must have demonstrated relationship management and project management skills.

The candidate must exhibit a solid understanding of the cyber threat landscape and be knowledgeable of emerging technologies and trends.

This person must have excellent verbal and written communication skills as well as experience presenting to senior executives.

Desired Skills & Experience:

• Bachelors degree

• 2+ years working in cyber threat intelligence or a similar job function.

• 5+ years experience working in the financial services industry.

• Ability to effectively communicate with all levels of senior management.

• Strong written/verbal communication and presentation skills.

• Ability to create effective cross-functional and cross-business teams.

• Strong project management skills
