Job Description:

The Corporate Recruiter position will sit in the Global Human Resources organization within Talent Acquisition. It will provide strategic staffing support for Bank of America’s Global Risk organization. The role is located in Charlotte, NC or Chicago, IL.

The Global Risk Talent Acquisition team is a team of recruiters that provide support across multiple areas of Risk Management including Compliance & Operational Risk, Regulatory Risk, Enterprise Credit, Global Banking, Global Markets, Enterprise Financial & Strategic Risk, Enterprise Testing and Quantitativemodeling. This role will support hiring for Global Risk and/or Quantitative positions at mid-to-senior levels across multiple cities within the US with heavy focus on helping drive the talent acquisition strategy.

Independently manages the search and selection process for professional, sales and management, technical, and other niche skill positions. Manages the full life cycle of staffing processes; to include networking and pipe lining. Engages and leverages business partners, such as Human Resource Managers, Relationship Managers, and Leadership Development to achieve results and deliver on Staffing plans. Individual contributor role with 3-5 years of recruiting experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Own the end to end recruitment process for the business

  • Demonstrate executive presence while proactively managing client and candidate relationships

  • Deliver consultative search recruiting services including diversity outreach, research, market intelligence, sourcing and client engagement

  • Practice continuous networking and pipeline in support of building a diverse bench of industry talent

  • Engages and leverages business partners, such as Human Resource Managers, Finance, Compensation, Business Support Managers and Leadership Development to achieve results and deliver on Staffing plans.

  • Understand the Global Risk area to effectively identify and recruit talent with industry expertise

Scope of Responsibilities:

  • Manage client and candidate relationships at the professional level

  • Provide consultative search recruiting services; including research, market intelligence, sourcing, advising clients; managing the overall end to end process

  • Assessing candidates to ensure qualification match, cultural fit and compatibility

  • Continuous networking and pipe lining to identify a broad and diverse external talent slate using a variety of channels

  • Extensive executive client interaction

  • Development and execution of staffing and diversity hiring plans

  • Ability to understand the Global Banking and Markets business to effectively identify and recruit HR talent with industry expertise in these areas

  • Planning, managing and executing conference strategy which could include determine which conferences to attend annually, setting a sourcing strategy for conference and coordinating onsite conference details

Required Knowledge, Skills and Key Leadership Characteristics:

  • 5+ years of professional full-cycle recruiting experience in a matrixed organization

  • Ability to work across large, complex organization to achieve results

  • Proven track record of sourcing diverse talent with subject matter expertise in competitive markets

  • Must have client management experience, with the ability to influence and consult at the executive level

  • Experience developing and executing internal, external and diversity sourcing strategies

  • Experience leading candidate selection and assessment through interviews, line of business engagement and offer negotiations

  • Must demonstrate both good judgment and communication

  • Excellent candidate management capabilities, including managing salary negotiations from pre-qualifying to “close”

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills

  • Must be a team player and have the ability to be flexible and adaptable to rapid change

  • Ability to determine talent acquisition objectives by understanding the organization and executive job succession plans; identifying job qualifications and requirements; conferring with hiring executives

  • Able to pull together reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data and trend

  • Highly Preferred Skills

  • Experience working in staffing for Corporate Risk or Quantitative function within a large organization

  • Experience working in Financial Services Industry
