Bank of America Client On-boarding (Senior Specialist) F&O and OTC Clearing Operations - Chicago, IL in Chicago, Illinois

Job Description:

The Futures & Options and OTC Clearing Client Onboarding operations team is responsible for managing all new client account coordination and operational set-up. The Onboarding team works closely with both the client and various teams internally (sales, legal, compliance, LOB risk, credit, technology, client services, etc.) to ensure a seamless transition and onboarding process from the time a mandate is won to go-live and handover to margin and product client service teams. The integration specialist will act as the central point of contact for the client and provide end to end coordination/project management. The integration specialist will also assist with projects including internal efficiency, process improvement and new market or product launches.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Overall project management and relationship management for all new F&O and OTC clearing client account requests

  • Coordination with other internal teams for client onboarding including sales, trading, legal, documentation, technology, credit, solutions etc.

  • Emerging market education and set-up coordination

  • Ongoing review and maintenance of departmental procedures

  • Assistance with new market and product client education and process build out

  • Track and maintain client onboarding pipeline

Required Skills:

  • Overall project management and relationship management for all new F&O and OTC clearing client account requests

  • Coordination with other internal teams for client onboarding including sales, trading, legal, documentation, technology, credit, solutions etc.

  • Emerging market education and set-up coordination

  • Ongoing review and maintenance of departmental procedures

  • Assistance with new market and product client education and process build out

  • Track and maintain client onboarding pipeline

  • College degree (degree in business field preferred)

  • Basic understanding of global financial markets (Derivatives, Futures & Options, Fixed Income) and regulations

  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

  • Demonstrated ability to work in a fast pace, high volume environment

  • Ability to meet deadlines on time

  • Ability to multi-task

  • Detail oriented

  • High level of intellectual curiosity and critical thinking skills

  • Ability to act without immediate supervision and ability to take ownership of tasks and processes

  • Excellent organizational skills

  • Experience with project management preferred

  • Advanced Microsoft office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
