Bank of America Business Support Manager - Global Risk Analytics in Chicago, Illinois
Global Risk Analytics (GRA) is seeking to fill a Chief Operating Officer (COO) Team role to support and enhance its effective operation.
The successful candidate will have regular exposure to senior GRA leaders, and will be heavily involved in shaping the future direction of the function, particularly as it relates to the smooth running of the organization. The role requires good judgment, keen intellect and the character to engage and influence a senior audience. Collaboration with a broad spectrum of business partners and stakeholders is vital. Relationship building is therefore central to success in the role.
GRA is a division of the Global Risk Management (GRM) function. It is responsible for developing a consistent and coherent set of models and analytical tools for effective risk and capital measurement, management and reporting across the firm. GRA partners with the lines of business and enterprise functions to ensure that its models and analytics address both internal and regulatory requirements.
Directly support the GRA COO.
Help prepare the GRA Executive for key meetings, including quarterly business reviews with the Chief Risk Officer; oversee preparation of relevant materials and talking points.
Assist in preparing management off-sites, leadership team meetings, all-hands calls, and broader management meetings, in alignment with GRA leadership’s strategic goals and vision.
Be responsible for aspects of GRA’s communication strategy
Play a key role in reporting of management information.
Partner with HR on workforce, location, building, organizational health, learning, development and engagement strategies.
Partner with GRA’s Strategy team on planning and management of initiatives and financials.
Support identification, implementation and reporting of process simplifications and improvements, operational excellence and cost management efficiencies.
Collaborate with business support functions across GRA to standardize operations and to share best practices.
Liaise and build relationships with GRM COO teams to ensure the GRA Executive receives the best possible service and to share best practices.
Partner with centralized business operations and controls teams on a range of routines, including recovery and resolution planning, third party management, expense management, location strategy and business continuity.
While delivering operational objectives, harness and support the GRA Employee Satisfaction, Diversity and Inclusion council.
