Looking for an Account Representative with account executive and sales planner responsibilities:

Junior AE Responsibilities

  • Manage $10+ million direct response list

  • Negotiate rates, manage and maintain schedules for 20+ Central US and West Coast Direct Response agencies

  • Prospect new business and entertain client

Sales Planner Responsibilities

  • Manage all aspects of advertising schedules from proposal to payment

  • Build media plans and schedule units based on available inventory

  • Resolve traffic and contract discrepancies

  • Manage liability and book recap units as needed

  • Process and analyze post buy analyses

  • Assist multiple departments including Sales, Research, Traffic and Accounting to provide timely and accurate information for internal and external use

  • Fill inventory and clear oversells to meet integration deadlines

  • Build and maintain quality relationships with media agencies

  • Support SVP while out of office

  • Prepare client background research as needed

  • Assist with digital ad sales and integrated marketing initiatives

  • Administrative tasks such as; expense reports for self and SVP, ordering office supplies, code and process office bills, filing, managing tech issues as necessary and handling any mailings

  • Ad hoc duties and projects as they arise

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Attention to detail and accuracy

  • Independently-motivated requiring minimal supervision

  • Proficiency in MOS, particularly Excel

  • 2+ years media sales planning experience
