Original, proprietary research and content based on our research is at the heart of all Accenture Strategy marketing. Every year we design and execute several original research studies on issues most relevant to the C-Suite that drive multi-year, cross-channel marketing campaigns.
We are looking for a seasoned, experienced and agile marketing leader to join the Accenture Strategy Marketing & Communications team. The individual will lead the development of research proposals and related content pipelines for 1-2 global Accenture Strategy integrated marketing campaigns in support of topics identified as key drivers of growth for Accenture Strategy.
These campaigns contribute meaningfully to the differentiation of Accenture Strategy. They will be built on key client and industry issues that the individual will work to shape with senior business leaders throughout the shaping of research and related content pipelines.
Each campaign will have 2-3 major pieces of hypothesis driven research each of which is intended to supply data and insights to support robust thought leadership pipelines.
The thought leadership and point of view pipelines for each piece of research will include 4-5 major pieces, 15-20 smaller ones and numerous “snackable” forms of related promotional assets, e.g., SlideShare, infographics, videos, etc.
The individual will also be responsible for ensuring consistent and differentiated messaging through all internal and external assets related to each campaign.
The individual will be responsible for working across corporate and business units to socialize the campaigns and content to facilitate cross pollination and to identify and connect relevant content from those businesses.
The individual will have a disciplined commitment to measurable outcomes and insight driven, real time adjustments across multiple format, cross channel promotion. The individual will excel at the business operations needed to optimize the agile, on time and on budget delivery of campaigns to agreed outcomes.
Lead development of research and related content pipelines for major, global and deliver integrated marketing campaigns.
Establish and manage relationships with Accenture Strategy business stakeholders.
Be fluent in the issues, research and core content underpinning the campaigns.
Work with Accenture Strategy and marketing colleagues across the organization to identify and articulate alignment opportunities for content delivery and promotion.
Build relationships with marketing colleagues across the organization to allow early identification of channels and tactics that will provide premium access opportunities for Accenture Strategy to C-suite targets.
Work with senior executives and writers to craft the final content pieces; provide editorial guidance to large numbers of practice members on related blog posts.
Excel at the business operations needed to optimize the agile, on time and on budget delivery of agreed-upon outcomes.
Embrace and enable an analytics mindset.
Manage and motivate flexible, virtual project teams of marketing colleagues, writers, agencies and shared service members in a hard charging and outcome oriented environment.
Manage program budgets, including quarterly budget forecasts.
Manage monthly and quarterly metrics reporting for programs.
Lead, mentor and develop junior members of team.
The successful individual will be an experienced, well rounded marketer with superior communications skills both orally and in writing and a track record of being able to influence without authority across a broad range of senior executive stakeholders and marketing colleagues. They will have a track record of working effectively in digitally dominated landscapes where they were expected to continually innovate. They will see themselves as evangelists for the very disciplined, research backed, content led approach at the core of our marketing strategy. They will be assertive, articulate and agile in their work style. This is a role for new age marketers who understand the strategic value that marketing can and must be able to deliver to the business as well as being able to recognize and capitalize on opportunities to add value.
University degree in marketing, communications, journalism or related field or Master’s degree in business/MBA
Minimum 12 years B2B marketing experience
Minimum 5 years of B2B social media and innovative digital marketing experience
Strong track record in driving highly targeted multi-channel campaigns
Strong inclination towards using metrics as a guide to campaign efficacy
Significant experience working in large, global, highly matrixed B2B organizations
Evidence of working with multiple, global senior stakeholders
Very strong problem solving and critical thinking skills
Persuasive written and oral communication skills
Interest in/ability to absorb and form/articulate sharp perspectives on a broad range of business issues
Self-starter, driven, highly motivated
Demonstrated leadership in professional setting; either military or civilian
Demonstrated teamwork and collaboration in a professional setting; either military or civilian
