US Foods Director Health Systems I in Rosemont, Illinois
Position is responsible for the overall management of selected national healthcare and education group customers. Development of strategy, execution of strategies and tactics, customer headquarters relationships, coordination of field and operation activities in support of these relationships are all critical elements of the position.In addition, this position will work closely with Revenue Management and Business Analytics teams across the organization to driving the development and alignment of key performance metrics reporting and developing and implementing necessary support material to drive effectiveness of reporting.
Provideappropriate communication/education to all field management, sales personneland headquarter staff to ensure understanding of contract elements and serviceexcellence for all GPO members and regional customers assigned to theindividual.
Develop andexecute strategies and tactics that will drive results and strengthen customerbusiness relationships by understanding and responding to customer and marketstrategic requirements.
In accordancewith contract parameters, track performance and develop action plans to achieveplanned performance targets for each assigned customer or customer group,including sales and profitability management.
Developcustomer relationships at the headquarters level and with key customers/healthsystems field management at the local level. Act as the single point of contactand coordination for all major customer issues and contractual requirements forassigned portfolio of customers.
Designs and develops financial andquantitative analysis aimed at garnering critical answers to growing sales,product alignment, and profitability. The Director will assert a keenunderstanding of the analysis, providing this analysis in a timely and accuratemanner on a consistent and ad hoc basis. Will serve as subject matter expertand coach to effectively relay analytical findings to stakeholders and adviseon impact.
Develop analytical models, forecasts andother quantitative inputs into effective, meaningful and relevantpresentations, facilitating and presenting findings and recommendations across theorganization, up to and including the executive leadership team.

Education/Training: Bachelor's degree in BusinessAdministration, Sales & Marketing or a related field or equivalent experiencerequired. Bachelor's degree preferred.
RelatedExperience: Aminimum of five years of foodservice distribution experience; threeyears of healthcare and five years of customer interfacingexperience required. A minimum of two years of experience/exposure toregional or national multi-location customers on contracts management and a minimum of twoyears of sales management experience preferred.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: Strong interpersonal skillswithin a complex matrix - relationship builder and effective at driving resultson behalf of the customer and the company. Possesses strategic thinking and problem resolution skills. Must havethe ability to see beyond the immediate to identify potential and risk, as wellas, business development opportunities. Demonstrates strong business acumen andpossesses business maturity based upon common sense.
Excellentoral/written communication skills, coupled with proficiency in Microsoftprograms that enable effective, professional communication and analysis (PowerPoint,Word, Excel). Must be well organizedwith strong follow through people management skills from a headquarters staffposition platform.
The ideal candidate will possess a
demonstrated ability to organize, direct, and lead specialprojects from end to end, as well as to assert keen quantitative and analyticalability when addressing the needs of a situation.Requires advanced proficiency in Excel, Access and PowerPoint.
