Bank of America Treasury Sales Officer in Chicago, Illinois
Responsible for delivery of integrated treasury solutions to Global Corporate Banking, Commercial Banking, Business Banking or Small Business Banking clients. Partner closely with client-facing teammates in GBAM to consult on sales opportunities and provide the product expertise and consultation necessary to deliver the best possible solution to the client.
The Global Treasury Sales Officer (TSO) is responsible for managing, and growing, frontline treasury revenue streams across a portfolio. Responsibilities include the relationship management, retention, prospecting, cross-sell and profitable revenue growth for clients. Transaction services to be represented encompass global payables (inclusive of Card Services), receivables, liquidity and information reporting solutions.
Collaborate closely with relationship managers and others across the enterprise to drive treasury solutions with their assigned client base. Interact and engage with all GTS Product partners (Card, FX, Trade and Liquidity), proposal partners (global service solutions delivery), service and fulfillment partners (Ops), and functional partners (implementation, client services, risk, credit).
Drive Client Management Process (CMP), by focusing on client acquisition and deepening existing relationships through identification of client needs.
Respond to all Client related inquiries for services through phone and in person client meetings.
Activly participate in the request for proposal process including drafting product information, meeting with the client for Q&A sessions, reviewing, and preparing and delivering best and final presentation.
Develop baseline knowledge across all treasury products in order to sell the full suite of treasury products. Provide demos to clients as needed. Participate in client event, conferences, and functions.
Conduct all business activities within established protocols and in compliance with risk, credit, audit, expense and Line of Business requirements/guidelines, i.e., including Know Your Client protocol, new account opening forms, and risk guidelines.
Liaise with Service & Implementation team to ensure smooth process. Acts as liaison on client's behalf when escalation to Service & Implementation management is necessary.
Maintain and update all sales systems and input calling activity and accurate pipeline management.
