Job Profile:

  • Oversees the business, financial and customer experience results for one or multiple product sets through the leadership of team(s) managing new and existing products or experiences.

  • Participates in the marketplace to influence product or experience trends. Monitors competitors or peer organizations to stay abreast of emerging trends in the industry.

  • Leads team(s) responsible for translating concepts or designs into new or improved products, product lines or experiences. Evaluates potential product or experience development projects for feasibility and value. Presents initiatives to gain management buy-in. Manages progress to ensure initiatives are completed on time and within budget and meet strategic goals.

  • Ensures successful outcomes from key stakeholders including sales, marketing and other internal service partners as well as external stakeholders throughout the product or experience lifecycle. Adheres to company-defined risk appetite as part of the first line of defense. Serves as point of review and sign off for risk management, compliance and audit requirements, as needed. Participates in client-facing activities, as needed.

  • Leads one or multiple product lines and manager(s). Manages, motivates and develops the performance of the Product Development Management team and key contributors.

Required Education and Experience:

Roles at this level typically require a university / college degree. Higher level education such as a Masters degree, PhD, or certifications is desirable. Industry experience is typically 8+ years. At least 5 years of prior management experience is typically required. In lieu of a degree, a comparable combination of education and experience (including military service) may be considered.
