Required Education and Experience:

Roles at this level typically require a university / college degree, with 2+ years of relevant professional experience. In lieu of a degree, a comparable combination of education and experience (including military service) may be considered.

Application Design, Architecture - Working Experience

  • Knowledge of application design activities, tools and techniques; ability to utilize these to convert business requirements and logical models into a technical application design.

System Development Life Cycle - Basic Experience

Position Overview:

As an Application Developer/Release Manager within PNC's Mortgage Technology organization, you will have the opportunity to work with a variety of people, systems, and projects. This position will report to the Application System Managers and Directors to drive forward mortgage technology initiatives.

A qualified candidate will have the following attributes:

  • Understanding of standard system development lifecycle process (SDLC)

  • Resolving urgent and immediate requests by various users in an at times demanding environment

  • Understanding of ITIL fundamentals

  • Excellent customer service and communication skills required.

  • Strong critical thinking and analytical skills and ability to think “out of the box” required.

  • Ability to Lead initiatives under minimum supervision.

  • Support the transition to the new Origination application, Empower.

  • Knowledgeable in ServiceNow functionality.

  • Prior experience in a Release Manager role

  • Prior experience in Mortgage (Origination) work environment preferred.
